Hello You all know how I like to talk rubbish from time to time so I thought I would start a thread to give me a place to do it. Maybe we could talk here about stuff other than Moths? Yes Roger there is life after Moth! Ok I have sat here for five mins now trying to think of something to talk about other than Moths and failed does that mean I am one of you now? I know, fashion would make an interesting conversation. So what should a well dressed sailor be seen wearing in his/her Moth this season? I nearly did it! New Boy, just waiting for my next outing on the water

Moth Fashion this season starts of course with a 2008 Somerville Tee shirt or the Tropical Frampton Tee shirt complemented by scagged and paint stained lightweight trousers or low slung tatty shorts. On the water a rash top that has no chance of ever meeting the top of your shorts[just like you had on at the weekend Mark]is Moth cutting edge fashion on the water ! As for life after Moths there certainly is and we now take a break from Moths and get the Fireball out for the Summer.

Roger As I am to poor to buy another rash vest I will try to shrink the big round thing sticking out from under it! Or maybe I will stretch the rash vest to fit over it! I think there should be a rule about using other boat names on this site. On the plus side if you are spending the summer dangling Laura from a long piece of wire I will be able to wear whatever I like. New Boy

Can we put proper pictures in the box?

Yes, though it has to be no more than 100x100 pixels in size (a program called Gimp is superb for cropping and scaling piccies, and it's free) and you need to host the picture online somewhere, and point your profile at it. ImageShack is very handy for that (and it's free)
Failing in that, email me the picture and I'll do it for you.

Don't get too excited - I know who is OOD today, so anticipate a rubbish course and strange starting timings !
Will arrange a rescue boat to follow you around ready for your capsize !
