Hi I would really like to enter the Pitsford 24 Hr race next year. I know it's a very long way off but would anyone be interested and the more we get the more boats we could put in. It would be nice to raise some money and on a selfish note we could introduce our boats to yet another club. It seems like they have lots of fun with a B.B.Q and other stuff going on. With light evening winds we may do well but more for fun and charity!! So what do you think. New Boy

Ian That is a great idea. I will supply a trophy for it if people are interested! I am fairly sure it was on while we were down at Fowey. Abby and Gary went last year. I will check Pitsfords web site and see if they have last years date posted. We could turn it into a really good social event, raise some money and show off the boats. I do know that each team can have as many or as few people as they like and that you can either share a boat or take your own and do it as a relay. I will try to find out more and as I said it's a long way off but brought it up as would like to slot it into the Moth busy calender. New Boy

You silly boy. It is Paxton Lake, which is just a few miles from Hunts SC....Have a look on Google earth at Little Paxton.
I think Paul Lohr did mention this for this year, but we could definitely sort it for 2009 OGF

Well it started with a P so not far out. I mentioned it last year and Paul was interseted but I went off to Fowey. Would be great to see who is interested and now we have started talking about it we can try to put something in place. Would also be good if we could put in a junior team if we could get enough of them along! Now we will be turning up at the right lake so that's a start Take care New Boy

Lovely Boy you are more than my best mate .......... Apologies thought that Richard splashed around at Paxton...my mistake. After your experiences with the new "stick" at Desborough come "home" to Frampers and we,ll get you going again.Have some new and radical ideas so need a guinea-pig to try them out on and "Painted Lady"is perfect ! For those who may be concerned New Boy is concerned about the "T"Terminal positions on his new Mast..... Fret not my friend at 64" you are fine and dandy. Can probably help you out with a temporary Rudder set up until your Sooper-Dooper Milanes set-up arrives. Seems that with Bill,s new pole,Ians patched up Whynot and Debbie,s rudder problems we have a bit of work to do. Then there is the "new" P-M aquisition to look forward to !!!

I was concerned. Very concerned. On a different note, however, what's a "T" Terminal? Is this something I should watch out for when I pay Wet & Windy a visit this coming Saturday?
