From Advert: My British Moth for reluctant sale. Sail number 405. This is a great stable and fun boat which is easy to sail. Comes with 2 main sails and launching trolley. and has new mainsheet and blocks. She is built of plywood and is watertight with buoyancy tanks fore and aft. She has a rolled varnished deck as can be seen in the pictures. She is in good condition for her age, and there is a (professional) repair across the transom which was done long before my ownership. The repair is solid and causes no problems. It could be made invisible by painting the transom the same colour as the hull, but I have never felt the need. Full details of the British Moth can be found at the Class Association Website which is excellent WWW.britishmoth.co.uk. A good home is more important than price. Currently at Alton Water Sailing Club which is where the photos were taken. Advertised elsewhere also. Please e-mail me if you have any questions.
