Hello Rupert - I am about to email you separately BUT we hope to have a Saturday coaching team of Toby Cooper, Robbie Claridge (if he is not already tied up with the Lightnings) and Ed Deacon. We would also like very much to continue our now familiar format of an informal meeting and bbq on the Saturday evening, if the Club is willing.
To that end - please folks if you are planning on staying for Abby Burgers (or veggie burgers) please can you sign up here for Rupert's lunches and for Saturday evening.
Here's the programme and the prices. From Toby: . I think we should go with boats rigged by 10:30. Briefing for exercises 10:30 to 11:15 and then on water exercises 11:15 to 12:30. Then 13:00 to 14:00 review of exercise / briefing for next on water exercise and then 14:00 back on water. Maybe another iteration of de-brief and brief and on water again for around 16:00.
From Rupert: Pricewise, the lunches are being charged by the club at £5 each (this was agreed with the 2000 class already, so we have to go with it) so my suggestion is that we charge £7 for the Saturday, with the extra £2 paying for the powerboat fuel and £10 for the Sunday, including lunch, which will give me a few quid for some prizes once the fuel has been paid.
From Abby - Burgers/Salad/Garlic Bread - £5.00 a head. Please 'sign up'
Just to confirm that Robbie Claridge will be at Whitefriars on Saturday running the training with Toby Cooper. Thank you to all who have 'signed up' - anyone else who is coming, please let us know. -BUT if you want to turn up at the last minute, please do!
I am comimg up and on SAturday Paul will be at the training, but will be going home afterwards. I will be staying and hoping the wind will drop to nothing (!) to give me a chance as my shouldwer is still not good
