The rescheduled FOSSC Open is now set for Sunday 12 October 2014. The Open will consist of two races in the morning with the lake to ourselves followed by lunch and then two further races in the afternoon alongside club racing.
Whilst we were disappointed to have to move the original date, due to the clash with the country fair and the potential problems the additional traffic would have caused, we are excited at the opportunity of showcasing our class in front of the rest of the club. We always enjoy welcoming the class to our shores and tropical climes and we hope to see as many of you as possible for more of the fleets trademark close racing and friendly atmosphere.
Full details and NOR and SI to follow.

This years Somerville Series sounded exciting to the very end with places in the series still being decided in the final race of the final open. We would love to welcome you to Frampton On Severn for our 2014 Open and more of our class's trademark close racing. Due to the Open being re-arranged the open will not count within the traveller series, but we still hope to see as many of you as possible for what will now be a one day winner takes all open, and one of the most unique trophies in sailing!
By sharing the lake with club racing in the afternoon, we are presented with a wonderful opportunity to advertise why our class is so much fun and still thriving. The class is starting to grow again at Frampton with two new members of the fleet within the last 18 months and more people starting to show some interest in trying the boat out.
Please let me know you are coming to help plan for the presentation buffet after racing.
Tropical Frampton weather is on order.....so don't pack away the sun cream just yet....
