I have been contacted about a new project setting up a boat museum (called Racing & River Boat Museum) at Beale Park which is close by the River Thames at Pangbourne. It is in a lovely old tithe barn and the project is a brainchild of Andrew Thornhill who some years ago was Firefly captain at Tamesis At a recent meeting the chairman of the Beale Park Trust, Richard Howard, who was a founder member of Desborough and used to own a British Moth. Suggested that maybe there should be a Moth in the exhibition. I am wondering whether anyone knows of a good example that could be loaned or gifted to the Trust? If you do have some suggestions could you please contact me and I will put you in touch with the relevant people. Thanks Chairman Rob

Could this be the impetus needed to get the 'Chatham Moth' out of Goffo's mum's garage, tarted up and put on show? This would be a good permanent home for it. Abby

I'd sure be glad to get the space back and reduce our boat-count by one! (It is currently in double-figures!) I would be happy to assist the would-be restorer with materials and support wherever possible. G
