Looks like the weekend was a good one for boat launching....finally got When wet on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday there was quite a fresh breeze but despite much in the way of mast rake setup, When behaved resonably well and popped out of a dozen or so power gybes (entering end exiting on the plane) without tryin to throw me out going submarine. No real, weather helm to speak of. Nothing broke, but a few of my first attempts at dyneema eye splices apear to be slipping so I've got some to redo. Adjustable rigs are fun ..... Unless you're an idiot like me and add gearing the wrong way around and then try to release the forestay while going upwind ... Only to find it can't be pulled back on again... Muppet ! Sunday raced against handicap fleet .... Lasers and Streakers and Phantoms. Not as windy as Saturday but still had to depower. Pace seemed OK.... Kept up with all streakers and Lasers in first race through to finishing line and probably won on handicap ... And I wasn't even as knackered as I thought I might be. I have a fair list of "snagging" issues I need to resolve. Lot's of rig tuning to do. Have a poxy self bailer leak Need to get up to P&B for Alan to measure the mast in preparation for making me a sail.

I have got some delays with paint, being resprayed this friday again, if all goes well, I won''t go into details but ladders, garage ceiling and boat underneath, OH NO .Never mind more time to try and lose some weight. I will be joining you streaker bashing soon. JH
