Forget to mention the outcome....
Beautiful Sunny Day and Shearwater looked stunning but was at its absolute worst and played no end of tricks with the breeze...
Coming principally from the North and curling down over the trees and splitting off in any direction gave us all some very challenging conditions !
Quite a good turnout ...20 boats or so...yours truly being the only Moth[790].
Ideal Moth conditions you might think ?...
Well if they were nobody told me and I failed to shine !
Managed a 2nd in the first and a 3rd I think in the second race then packed up.
Beaten up by a quick very well sailed Merlin in the first race and the same Merlin and another Merlin in the second.These guys seemed to have no issues with the antics of the wind that on occasions you could be on a dead run and meet someone also on also on a dead run coming towards you....ce la vie !
