Strong SW winds blew and blew With a keen 30 sailors on the shore conditions reduced the takers for the practice and 1st race. Rob Wilder taking the practice race in style and rooky BM Nationals sailor Robbie Claridge taking line honours for the Teddy Hicks Trophy by a comfortable margin. Less than double figures finishing the races....! Looking forward to a full 3 races tomorrow, competitors happily carb and liquid loading ready for the onslaught....

Many Congratulations to ROBBIE CLARIDGE the 2011 National Champion. Very well sailed.
Report on Yachts & Yachting web-site ...... Great pics by our friends Fotoboat who attended on the last day....www.fotoboat.com Most of us are featured. Particularly like the shot of John Pickford ....such concentration and you can almost feel that he is urging the boat on.....great shot.Second best shot must be that of Richard Keefe with that cap on he looks like a jockey !
