I have 84? for sale. I think the correct number is 845, but will check the certificate this coming weekend.
I bought her as a project last year and ran out of time due to heavy work commitments. Here are the details:
Standard wooden, long-foredeck, deep cockpit boat, built (I think) by Steve Sargent. Very sound and dry with no rot. I stripped the decks and have applied 2 coats of varnish. The hull has been sanded and undercoated. Only the remaining varnish and top coat need to be applied, plus re-fit the fittings etc. to finish the job. She is measured and is very light (with correctors).
Proctor mast, plus spare proctor in excellent condition. Almost new foils. Galvanised combi trailer and very good canvas top cover. Good dacron sail.
I'm looking for around £650, which I think is reasonable given the combi, spare mast and good cover.
If you're interested, please send me a personal message and I'll give you my contact details.
Regards to all Martin Brooking

Hi All, Moth 847 (see previous details on post for 84?) is still for sale. Lots of polite interest, but no takers yet (maybe Kent is a little too far outside normal Moth country). I have decided to drop the price to £550 ono. There's a little painting and outfit to finish, exactly as previously described; plus all the good points of the boat, minimum weight, galvanised combi and canvas cover remain. Maybe this is one for list of "boat for sale" at the dinghy show. Best to all Martin
