Hi, Following on from previous articles in Chrysalis, no one has come forward and said that they would be willing to restore this old boat. It spent last summer in Gary's garage, the winter in a shed at SESCA and is now currently under a boat cover in the SESCA boat park.
This is the last-gasp appeal. If you would like to save/store/restore this old boat (and trust me, it will take a lot of time, money and materials and there might not be much original left) then you must call me BEFORE FRIDAY 17 JUNE 2011.
Saturday the 18th June is 'Midsummer Madness' at SESCA. If no one has telephoned me prior to Friday the 17th then the Chatham Moth will have a viking send off at Midsummer Madness.

I guess that the best way to get a response is to threaten FIRE. I have now had 3 people express interest - Simon, Steve Seargeant and Godfrey is offering storage. This is great news which now has to be followed through. I would like it out of the SESCA dinghy park (where it is only wearing a cover) to somewhere more secure by August at the latest. We can and will deliver (although we would rather not head back West this weekend) so please, get in touch. Abby

Abby
Any chance we can meet half way and swap over and I will have a look and see what can be done to save it.
