Hi,
How do I get my cert endorsed for bouyancy? What I mean is; can I do the test at my club and get a "responsible person" to verify that I have done it?
I'm still considering coming to the Nationals but haven't tested the boat since the mid 90's. Might get a shock!
Thanks Paul

Paul, you can sign your own buoyancy endorsement, I can't remember offhand how you do the test but I'm sure someone else can tell you.

Details of the test can be found on the website under class rules. Go to the section under bouyancy and have fun! I will do mine when the water gets warmer. The other test capsize your boat and wait for rescue to come and pick you up. If no water in the tanks then you should be OK. Last year when I tested mine I allowed for zero tolerance on allowing water in and was very supprised, considering the history of my boat!

Many thanks for the info both of you. I'll check it nearer the time when the water is warmer.
Cheers Paul
