Hi All Your beloved Chairman will be sailing the X moth at Himley Halls marathon sail this Saturday 8th May,he will be attempting 5 hours non stop sailing however it is a very small and public lake so Jack will be on hand for comfort breaks. This is where I learnt to sail with Dad so the place has a lot of fond memories,it is where we first encountered British Moths being an ideal location ,a park lake of 10ish acres and winds from 360 degrees in any race. Please support The RNLI and myself by pledging sponsorship to popelandmarine@yahoo.com. My apologies to Evesham for not supporting their open but this is Himleys 40th anniversary so worthy of support. Thanks Graham Pope BMBA Chairman ;D

Hi All Success all round,I managed to keep sailing for the whole 5 hours non stop and won the event sailing 19 miles raising £50.00 for the RNLI.The X moth generated a lot of interest from the home club and visitors as it is the ideal boat for this venue. Thank you to my sponsors, Graham
