hi, i have the hul of 25 year old moth wich i have just finished refurbishing i need a mast &boom a rudder and a centre board if anyone has any second hand items for sale it would be helpful and would like to hear from you

Any idea of the sail number so we can try to find out who made the hull? People would need to know the deck layout as there are several types of centreboard regards Laura

Thank you for your reply, Ihave a sail the number is ke:3660 i do not know if it's the original.there is a no:3667 marked on the deck at the stern of the boat any good? .The measurement re centreboard the slot on the deck is 15in long - bottom of hull is 10.5ins long,length of boat is 11ft ,width is 50in's ..thank you james

hi laura,the date on the sail says 20-07-1977 but i don't no if it's the original i do no that boat was kept in a garden for at least 25 years,the first owner was mr mathew sheard

Does it have a symbol on the sail that looks like a butterfly and all full length batons? This would make it an International Moth. If your boat has 4 digits it isn't a British Moth as there have only been 872 built! Have a look at this website... www.int-moth.org.uk/NewPages/Archive2.htm

yes it does have a symbol of a butterfly on the sail and wooden batons running across the sail and the boat has 4 digits marked on it.if itsa international moth can i still get second hand parts

They have a completely different rig to BM's as they have a mast that rotates... Try the link for the International Moth class and maybe the CVRDA www.cvrda.org/index.phpThey certainly had a member with a Moth similar to yours.
