Difficult one this Paul. Asked plenty of people and not many giving useful info away.
However we found Focus do have a hardwood & softwood half round, but be careful as some lengths are joined. Or its try as many local timber merchants as poss.

I'll have a look in B&Q, I only need a 4" bit to repair the front where it went soft during the years I had abandoned it.

Paul...give us a clue what sizes are you looking for ? ...what wood ideally ? I have no idea what the wood is I'm afraid, it is quite light and looks like pine but is pretty hard. It is about 3/4 of an inch wide and sort of half round, perhaps it was originally square and was sanded round? I just need to replace a bit at the very front which had gone soft, no more than 4 inches really. I'm not too bothered if it matches or not. Cheers Paul

Lee, you can forget about this now, I bought 2.8m of a hard wood moulding and fitted a 7cm piece to my boat yesterday to replace the rotten bit.
Anybody got a use for 2.73 metre of half round?
