Billy broke his centreboard and had to retire second race. Also lost my burgee, which is insignificant, except I think that's the longest stretch any single one burgee has ever survived at the top of my mast. But Jeremy definately had the better of me both races this time around.

The Framptom Moths do lunch The more sensible members of the Frampton Moth fleet are going for Sunday lunch at the Bell today while some of the more hardy members will be breaking the ice and launching their boats into the icy waters. Let me think cold glass of stella and open fire or cold lake of water and a cup of soup, I will see you at the pub then. New Boy

It seems that the ice was a little to much for The tropical Frampton mob and the pub looked like the best option for quite a few of us. Thanks to Debi for turning the pub lunch into a children's party with her version of pass the potato. The next event is Jan the 3rd for the picnic at the club arranged by mr witts himself. New Boy

Rob I woulld love to see you back in a Moth but should warn you things have changed and the only thing you will see of Painted Lady is her stearn as you follow her round the course. That is if you can get that close! Guess that was my way of saying she won't be for sale next year. Hope your well and that we get to see you out on the water or just in the pub with us South West lightweights soon. New Boy

Hi Nearly New Boy,
A winter BBQ sounds an excellent idea, exceedingly generous of you to provide the food.
- what's the catch ? - is it road kill or similar ?
Looking forward to the first running of the tropical Frampton ice yachting championship.

Tropical weather greated 7 moths for the 1st race day of Framptons season. Great fun was had by all and it is clear that there will be some close racing going on. I was able to hit 3 boats over the 2 races 4 if you count the committee boat! Thought I would tell you all before someone else did. I loved being back in the boat but my aches have aches now so on a get fit mission now New Boy

What New Rude Boy hasn't told you is the reason he rammed MY committee boat was because he was too busy concentrating on trying to drive Laura in to it to stop her beating him to the finish line
