It would be good to have a vid thread on the forum. ....I might have an early Christmas present for anybody that sailed the last Open at Frampton this year. Watch this space....

New Boy, you're a wimp. Don't try to pretend otherwise. If you REALLY wanted to get back out on the water, you'd be there Boxing Day. I will Albeit most likely in a Wanderer rather than a Moth. Learnt a valuable lesson about varnishing centreboards on Sunday and the ill wisdom of not letting the varnish properly cure before you try to refit the d**n thing. Going to need a new slot gasket. But hopefully, will have the varnish patched back up and the board fitted in time for New Year's Day. No excuses New Boy. The weather's balmy for the time of year. Bring Painted Lady back down to the club and try and catch me? ;D (And I should add that credit for the second video, especially the post-production, rests entirely with Laura. I just uploaded it to my YouTube account)

Camera work by Georgia... Protection work by Fudge, keeping a soggy Mark out of the rescue boat! Will attempt another short production now we know how it works...

Both videos are excellent. I was particularly impressed by the "loup de mer".

Keep watching Bertfatal....Framptons own Aeronautical Stunt-Man Jezza Higson will feature in the next release .....! In case you were wondering the Moth on its side in the background of Vid 2 is none other than "New Boy" ...but suspect you knew that when he tried to get on the rescue boat. We didn,t let him on and left him there !

Happy Christmas everybody.
I've uploaded some video footage from the Desborough open onto youtube. I don't know the url or how to copy and paste it into here but if you search for it I'm sure you can find it.

Nice one New Boy - I particularly like the part where my boat is going faster than yours!
New Boy- For placing a YouTube video on the forum, click the button in the 'add tags' section that is red and says tube. That will then put
[youtube] [/you tube]
into the text box. (The gap in the you tube won't be there when you do it properly.) Get the URL for the film from YouTube and then just insert the URL between the brackets e.g. ]www.youtube.etc[
Then when you add the post to the forum or preview it, the video will be there instead of the words!
Hope this makes sense.
