Hi all, with the open less than two weeks away, has a notice of race been posted anywhere?

Are there any details anywhere? It's a bit a long way to travel to find out nothing's happening...

It's noted in the broxbourne racing calender, but still cannot see a notice of race anywhere for us or the lightnings. Hope someone posts confirmation soon, we are not too concerned about exact times ( as we will proberbly be late anyway ). Just need to know if it's going ahead as planned, so we can book accommodation

HI folks. I don't know who's organizing this ..... I've been real busy at work and I believe Ashley has been working hard to renovate his Skinner (apparently it was on the water last weekend). I checked with someone at the club today and they are expecting us, so I guess I could post an unofficial NOR;
British Moth Open; Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th May. Address of the Club : Meadgate Road, Nazeing, Essex. EN9 2PB.
Local Campsite available at :
Lee Valley Caravan Park, Dobbs Weir
Charlton Meadows, Essex Road Hoddesdon Hertfordshire EN11 0AS
Call 08456 770 609 for bookings.
There will be 5 races (3 Saturday, 2 Sunday). Sharing the water with the Lightning's on Saturday and club racing on the Sunday.
1st Race - 11:00 Saturday - although we may be able to push this back to a later time (as we did last year to allow all travellers to be ready for 1st race).
2 more races to follow Saturday.
Sunday 1st race likely to be 10:50 or 10:55 start.
I suggest 3 out of 5 races to count, but anyone who would prefer 4 from 5 or any other combination (to accommodate Somerville scoring) please shout and I am sure we can work something out.
Prizes - Open meeting trophy will be whichever ever pot I identify on my shelf as being the one I picked up last year (I really am having a pot to open meeting identification issue right now). We will be arranging appropriately labelled bottles of plonk for the remainder of the prizes.
All are welcome - and based on last years events we really do need some travellers to come along to show us locals the CORRECT course :-)
If there are any other queries or questions, please post here and I'll endeavour to answer during the week.

All
I have had the following email from Broxbourne which backs up Polyfiller's earler post
I believe the briefing will be at 10am and 1st race will be 11am 2nd race 1pm and 3rd race 2pm.
Sunday 1st race 10.45 2nd race 1pm.
We have a live band playing at the club on Saturday evening and there is a limited amount of camping space available.
Hope to see you at the weekend
Simon

Sorry I can't make it to this, had some minor surgery last week and still have stitches in.
Hopefully I'll get to Earlswood.
Cheers Paul

Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks to everyone for travelling. Great weather, sorry about the light wind on Saturday and the famous Broxbourne shiftiness on Sunday ;-)
