Does the mini moth sail have its own PY number. If so please advise.

A good quetion! I have asked the Committee before. No reponse as yet! I guess a good starting point may be the PY for the Comet "Mino" rig which (in proportion to sail area may be about right). Not sure what it is (!) but the Y&Y site may help. A good subject to raise at the AGM? David

Try "question" and "response"--Note to self--improve typing! David

Well according to the RYA PY listings which I believe are supposed to be definitive, there is no separate PY shown. I would have thought however that there should be as the difference in sail size is quite dramatic.

I am suprised there is no Mino PY for the Comet. Our Commodore at Upton Warren sails a Comet and when it is windy uses a Mino rig in handicap racing. I guess we therefore must have a local Handicap. I will ask our Sailing Secretary what it is! David
