I’m sad to say that I don’t know much about the boat, only that it was sailed at Bristol Avon Sailing Club for a few years and has previously seen action at Desborough Sailing Club. We purchased this boat a few years ago with the view to fixing her up and sailing her, but since then it’s been drying out in our garage and unfortunately, I’ve made no progress on the needed repairs. So, it’s time to go. The hull needs some repairs to the GRP where the gunwale is separated, also the rudder fittings have started to pull out. Beyond this, some new string and blocks will have the boat back on the water but it all depends how far you want to go – new paint job perhaps, not needed, but very deserving! The boat comes complete with mast, boom, rudder, centreboard, a box of blocks and other chandlery that I removed as well as a trolley and 2 old Dacron sails. I have other pictures, so please get in touch and I can email them to you, also if you have any questions, I’m happy to try to answer them either via email of phone. I’m confident that anyone willing to put in a bit of time and effort could increase its value, or could own a superb low maintenance example of this old classic.
