Thanks Simon - the one on ebay would have been good but sold last week. 292 might fit the bill but I think Chris is now away for a few weeks. The search continues... All Best, Gavin

Hoping to make the Desborough event or at least part of it Simon. I need to apply for a new measurement certificate - are you still the man to ask?

I'm thinking of selling 784 but it will be a bit more than £300! I put new John Claridge foils in it in 2012 and they cost about £600 It's in good condition with an M7 mast and a light alloy boom, decent R&J dacron sail cut for the mast in 2012 I repaired the hull and double skinned the cockpit in 2011 so it is nice and stiff and had the hull sprayed after the repairs. I use it as my Wednesday evening boat at Ripon SC as I usually sail a streaker, I hardly sailed in late 2014 and 2015 due to my health issues. Sailed it to 14th in this years nationals (best result of 9th) which wasn't bad for a 33 year old boat sailed by a 58 year old with terminal cancer and on his second pacemaker. If it is of interest drop me a line on paul [at] eborfamilyhistory.co.uk

Also, give John Claridge a ring, he told me the other day that he had 3 British Moths at his place that he needed to sell. Mention my name and I might get a discount on my new boat :-)

Hi Paul, thanks for your advice and I am very sorry to hear of your health issues. It sounds like you are sailing regularly again which is good to hear.
I'm after a basic old Moth to use over the winter and lend to anyone at my club who is interested, with a view to getting a fleet started. Your fabulous 784 (I followed its progress on your blog) would be far too good for this purpose I'm afraid. Thanks very much for the suggestion though.

Hi, 799 has not tempted me out of my laser radial on windy days and I am also hearing the siren call of a Streaker, I would not say no if you wanted it back. T2

BM 459 is now in my lock-up awaiting some TLC. Previously at Whitefriars for a few years, but does anyone know any of the earlier history of this Moth?
