There are now less than four weeks to go until the first Open of the year at MWYC. It would be fantastic to start the season on a high with a big turnout. For those who haven't visited before we have a reputation for being a very friendly club with lots of help available for launching/retrieving boats & good catering/bar facilities. It would be good to have some ideas of numbers etc visitors are welcome to bring other halves/supporters & there is plenty of retail therapy within an easy walk for any non-sailors.

There are now less than two weeks to go until the first British Moth Open at Girton SC. For those present at the AGM last August you may remember that the idea of visiting clubs with a small number of Moths was to be tried as a way to boost the class instead of the Dingy Show. This Girton open is the first try. As requested the racing is a class start following the club fleet starting at 11am 1pm and the third race is normally a follow on. I don't think there would be anyone who has visited GSC before, we have a reputation for being a very friendly club with good catering/bar facilities. Saturday 16th April is our get the training fleet ready day so the club will be open all day. Camping is available at the club Saturday and possibly Friday evening for those who want to make a weekend out of it. Other halves/and supporters are welcome Dogs are allowed but must be kept under control and cleaned up after.
It would be good to have some ideas of numbers.
Regards,
Paul.
