Don't forget the Broxbourne SC open will be held on 25th August. I am not able to make this one as on holiday that weekend at Centre Parcs with the family. If you plan to attend can you please post so they have an idea on numbers. thanks
Chairman Rob

Is anyone else able to confirm attendance? We appear to have something of a Broxboutne fleet revival recently and there could be as many as 6 local boats on the water. For those who haven't sailed at Brox before it's 100 acres of gravel pit and quite well suited for moths. For those who have been before ..... Come and find out how things have changed now that the shallows have been dredged out.

Ed is coming too - and bringing the mast for you too, Toby.
What time is the briefing and the start?

As the wind forecast is now more benign, Elaine is set to be there too.
And I have cleaned the trophy....

Thanks Toby for a good day on the water - nice courses, well run and a pretty good turn out of 10 boats. Well done winning the cup back from Colin (2nd), Gary 3rd. Gary left an ASDA bag in the front of a FF15 trailer where we were rigging - it may or may not have a fitting in it.....can someone rescue it for us? Cheers.

Thanks to all those who travelled, was a pleasure sering a fleet of Moths at Brox again.
Abbey - sorry, only just seen your message..... Was down the club today and didn't notice a bag... I'll have to ask if anyone noticed it or handed it in... Probably next Saturday.

Thanks Toby. I don't think it is anything critical - because it was in the bag, and not on the boat on Saturday. Abby

Apologies .... I wasn't really close enough to the action to be able to write an end to end report.... can I suggest ... I start to write somethibng and others who were in the thick of the action add /amend as they see fit ? We can pull a final version from this thread as the final report ?
Also - I have a horrible memory.

As we have had no report or any of the results from Broxbourne I am unable to add these to the Somerville. If no results are sent I take it Broxbourne don't want their results included. Also I think it is up to the club reps to send in reports not the visitors. Chairman Rob
