What a fantastic event, I think the wind gods provided something for all of us. I had printed a copy of the results for the majority and then managed to loose them amongst all my paper. I will download them from my lap top in the near future once I learn how and post them to this forum. Good to see you all. Ian E
Although I didn't sail I thoroughly enjoyed the sailing entertainment as a spectator not to forget the social side. What a great Nationals ! It was nice to see so many new faces at this years event & to learn how much they all enjoyed it. Do tell your fellow Moth sailors about your experience so that hopefully a lot more new faces will join us next year. It is the 80th year & we want it to be even better attended so that they can also appreciate what a great group we are. Congratulations to Robbie Claridge on his achievement & to the committee on the general running of this years Nationals.
What a great few days, really enjoyed all the antics on and off the water! Great racing and great socials. Well done to all those who helped and a big thank you for all your hard work. I look forward to the 80th Nationals.. Rob 881 - Xmoth
Another great (and windy)nationals at Northampton SC. In answer to to previous critiism of Medley not travelling itwas great to see the ever friendly and helpful John Venn and newcomer Toby Smith attend, plus stalwarts Ian Miller, Tim Davison and (race winner) David Cannon. I would also personally like to welcolme a very worthy champion Robbie Clarridge, and also Rob Wilder who gallantly stepped in as chairman, whose strong character and drive will be good for the class. It will also be great to see Toby make a return challenge to the fleet next year. I look forward to a very exciting championships next year.
