I braved to cold in Fli bi nite yesterday morning, we had a few minor ice-bergs & my main sheet was a bit solid but excellent Moth condition (light & fluky). Got a first place beating 2 fast Nat 12's, must keep up the good work.

Well I really enjoyed the youtube link - thank you for that. Having lived in Norway several years ago I recognised the crazy nature of locals - totally mad! (but really super people).
V.cold here in Seoul (-15 degs). Busan was warmer and I saw several ironing boards enjoying Sunday racing from the old Olympics centre - which is a very impressive facility. Sadly I couldn't get to sail. Strangely enough, despite the number of ironing boards on the water, there were no British Moths! Not very civilised is it?
South Korea has a fantastic coastline with lots of excellent beaches and bays. But there are very few yachts, dinghies or sailing clubs. However, dock-side seafood restaurants are very popular - all with tanks of live fish and molluscs waiting to end up as your meal! Koreans enjoy baby octopus served so fresh it still moves as you're eating it - eesh!
Hope the UK is warming up now. Enjoy sailing at the weekend you lucky people. (No jokes about dogs please - the Koreans are very sensitive about that!).
