Hi Everyone, I think I have a Supaspar M7 mast on Polyanna (BM838), but apart from measuring the bending of the mast under load, is there an easy (visual) way to tell an M7 from an M1 mast? A silly question maybe but then when ordering a new sail maybe not... Your help and collective wisdom will be much appreciated. Cheers Toby (the other one)

Hi Toby If you refer to the Superspar website it gives the external sizes of their spars,to save you time I know you have an M7 as thats what I supplied for the previous owner and similar the mast I supplied you for 351. Regards Graham

Hi Graham, Hope you are well. Thanks for the confirmation of the mast on 838, John Nixon who I bought her from said you had sold him the new mast, and he thought is was an M7, but he wasn't 100% certain...I though I should double check before ordering a new sail (big treat!) Also I know one of my students may have tried to make contact with you about boat-buildering: hope they haven't been a pain... Look forward to seeing you on the water. Cheers Toby
