This year we will be in the Main all Stand C52 and will be showing the latest sleek and shiny Claridge deep cockpit plastic boat bristling with cunning controls, together with a range of 80th Anniversary clothing and goodies including a Birthday cake and perhaps pop and crisps too.John and myself will be around for most the show and set up and clear and we have 3 volunteerrs for Saturday already so if any of you would like to help out for a shift especially Sunday please let us know,Otherwise pop in and have a chat ,see our stand , enjoy some cake and celebrate our great boat. We are planning to have celebratory cake cutting etc at 2.00ish on Saturday unless this clashs with the Rugby or something important. Looking Forward to meeting all Moth sailers ,old , new or just dreaming. Best Wishs Graham

Graham, as I said the other day I can help out on Saturday but I am working on Sunday. I might be able to help Friday if required?
Richard.

I'am unable to help now as I cannot get there, unless someone is driving past Ipswich who could give me lift? Thanks Chris

Dinghy Show feedback- Saturday 3rd March
The Stand itself looks very good....very bright not only with "Blue One" as the main feature but with new large pics on the two back walls. Most of us were sporting the latest fashion accessory - 80th Anniversary Tee and Polo Shirts. The hard work setting up is due to Graham and Johns hard work...thanks lads. Stand helpers Graham Pope,Ian Haywood,Richard Keefe,John and Robbie Claridge & RW. Lots of "drop-ins" and attendees for the Birthday Celebration... More over lots of intrerest in John,s new boat and unanimous agreement that she "looks right"...above all else it is the clean lines, the excellent finish and that very open cockpit that will hopefully prove significant in the years ahead. From my view Show attendance was down a little from recent years but Sundays rush[kids get in free] may re-address the balance.

Well done to Roger, John and Graham. The stand looked good, Blue One looks tempting and I am sorry we missed out on Saturday's celebration of the 80th! Sunday was a bit quiet (I think the state of the nation may have a lot to do with that) all round but we still had a steady flow of sailors stopping by to admire the boat and enquire about the Class.
