good day for the moths at leamington. 2nd elaine- after a race long battle with an numpty sailing his new supernova (my first win in the supernova!!!!!!!) 4th pete. pete has got a good chance of winning the series with only two races to go. elaine has won more races but has not done enough races to stand a good chance overall.

just a line or two update everybody about moths at leamington.
pete did win the last series, quite easily in the end and now has taken 'why not' home to do a little work on her. ( this is why he is still looking for a good g.r.p moth!)
elaine and i were both back on the water last week, not a great race for her, even i caught her up!and then she capsized!!
much better race for her this week. won the race and nearly lapped me.

another good day for elaine. another win.
at one stage it looked like she would be caught by a supernova, but the wind dropped off and she sailed away from him.

only elaine out today, pete still playing with glue and varnish!
one off race series today. three races, best two to count. good day for elaine, she won the first to races, so no need to run the third. you could say she is a little happy!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
she has won a lot of races since she got the moth, but this is her first series win.

Well done Elaine on winning the Series ! Looks like we will have some stiff competition from Yourself and Pete at MWYC in April .... You have shown how Moths can go ..its an ideal sailing area for Moths so lets hope the Class can grow more this season. Now about the Open...I hope the starting Klaxon has got a silencer fitted and hopefully we will have less buoys or a lead boat for every lap !

Everything went to plan for once, I knew I could do it if I didn't panic, was really pleased not to have to do the 3rd race. Also I've heard a rumour of a lead boat & I'm sure less marks will be used after last year.

Planning to have a lead boat for every lap (It will either be Elaine or Pete ;D ) No seriously it should be a safety boat for at least the first lap of each race, but pack your ear plugs because the Klaxon we know and love will be performing ;D

yet another good race for elaine. another win. at 1/4 distance it looked as if the enterprises and the n12 would catch the slow boats easily, but the wind dropped a little and elaine and another sailor in a lightning, went away from them again. the only one of the fast boats to get anywhere near them was a supernova, which finished third.
pete and elaine just keep proving we are a great little puddle for british moths!
