First of all can I say a big thank you to Mark (NewBoy) Wiltshire for loaning me 817 Painted Lady.. It was great so sail her again. Sorry for hassling you about selling her but she does have a place in my heart so just needed to make sure you wouldn't let her go without letting me know! Always a space in my garage for her!!
Mai, Milly and myself had a great day seeing so many of our Moth friends and it felt like we hadn't been away.. So a big thank you from us all for making us so welcome.
Anyone know of any decent boats for sale?
Rob

Tom and I got back to north Shropshire at 11.15pm.
And we still had two moths on the trailer.
Though only one wheel on the trolley strapped to the roof.
So, if you see one lying by the M5......
Long day, but worth it. First time racing other other Moths and learned lots. Including the folly of trying to sneak into the final mark on port when all around are on starboard (I know, I know, but it was a rush of blood to the tiller).
It was good to put faces to so many forum names. We were planning on leaving a little earlier, but I'm sure Bill's band played "one last song" six times.
Thanks for the hospitality, the help and advice. See you again.
The Duttons
PS. Roger: Tom was unable to pass on your message to Grace, as she ran away.
PPS. Gary: Jim was surprised that anyone remembered his whistling mast and the fate of 99.

Many thanks to all the Framptonistas for a good weekend, do wish one of us had managed to sail a little better. we have kept up the record of never arriving and coming home with the same combination of boats. Mark, thanks for the trip out to the Pub and for breakfast on Sunday. AND thanks for the sail in ASBO. I will continue to dream about a new boat.....and then will really know that its the technique at fault! Abby

Thanks to Everyone for supporting and making 'The Fling' a great success and a lot of fun. Thankfully we can all blame the tropical conditions for our ruddy cheeks! Legs still feeling weiry from a little sailing and a lot of dancing...
Bill's band 'Freefall' have already been booked for the FOSSC dinner dance (20th Feb) and with a number of our BM sailors due to collect awards it would seem fitting that we should get together to jeer once again at each other in the depth of winter... how about it? Laura

Sorry no chance of a Winter Open at Frampton. We are all knackered and resting, then after the Winter Series we just get into the Mid-Winter Talking Series ....non-stop nattering with an Xmas Party,"Come Dine with New Boy",the Dinner Dance[Moth Table this year eh ?] and various other impromptu gatherings until March 2010 then we go and do it all again.....
Not sure if SESCA and the Eastern Clubs are going to have another of their Winter events.
Fowey 2010 seems such a long time to wait.....
